There is something fun about being able to use my name in my messaging during this special time of year, so please pardon me indulging myself a bit. As a child I recall being pointed at in music class, with giggles all around, every time my name came up in a song. I found it to be slightly embarrassing at the time, but now, I must say, I somewhat enjoy it! So, deck the halls and all that stuff. AND, happy HOLLY days for sure – to you and yours!

It’s been some time since I’ve blogged here – but was inspired to do so after the past two days with the Mitchell’s “family” – which, I would like to say includes not only the inspiring family members themselves, but their associates, vendors, and customers! It was my second trunk show appearance with them, the last one in Greenwich, CT at Richards last month, and I can only say one thing: the joy, kindness and personal attention they show to every person who walks through their doors is astounding. The experience is unique, and it is completely ingrained in all they do in every part of their business: it’s their culture, through and through. I am honored, and humbled, to be part of it – and look forward to spending more time there in the future. A rare and authentic experience – surrounded by a beautifully curated collection of designers and wares. Thank you, to the entire Mitchells family … which again, includes their talented, kind and enthusiastic team.

And now, some photos from my most recent visit!

A photo of our display from our October trunk show at Richards. Again, the experience there, so special. The roses were given to me by owner Scott Mitchell, in honor of our visit! Such kindness, or as they like to say "hugs!".

This man has more energy than well, me, that's for sure. He is amazing, inspiring and treats every customer with such great care and kindness. I am honored to know him!

A very special gift (and read!) from Jack Mitchell, who's enthusiastic support for us and our brand was quite humbling. Thanks for the "hugs" Jack and for the personal inscriptions. I will treasure them always!

My wonderful associate Caitlin, holding out Lady Jane in Ivory Goatskin for her special visit with Santa. Wondering what special gift she asked for, as how often is it as an adult we get to visit Santa Clause! Hope it was a good one, Caitlin!

I had the distinct pleasure of not only sharing my holiday wishes with Santa, but with sharing my day at Mitchells with Adam Shulman, the very talented designer behind the brand "James Banks" - ok, so hint, hint - my wish to Santa had a little something to do with a certain piece from Adam's amazing collection, which is a must see at Richards and Mitchells. And yes, somehow Santa convinced us both to sit on his knee. Happy Holly-days indeed!
